There are a number of ways an accident can be recorded within the system:
1. Adding an accident as a driver
You can record an incident within your Driving Monitor account either from the Accidents section or as part of completing your risk assessment (your company may ask you to complete regular driver risk assessments). Adding an accident is very straightforward. Simply complete the options in the accident entry screen and this will be saved against your account.
You may also notice any incidents that your fleet team have recorded from any company vehicles against your overall driver profile.
2. Adding an accident as a manager
You can manually record an incident against a driver by searching for the driver and opening their user profile popup. Navigate to the Accidents tab and choosing the Add an accident option and follow the on-screen instructions. It may be worth checking that the incident hasn't already been recorded against the driver from any data feeds that are automatically set up to auto-import into the system.
3. Adding an accident as an administrator
If you have admin rights to the system, you can also set up data feeds into the system to auto-import accidents from your internal accident management data feeds. Your Driving Monitor account manager can discuss these options with you.
