Why do I have to complete a Driving Licence Mandate?

Your company can carry out checks with the DVLA on employee’s licences in order to cover it's duty of care obligations under Health & Safety guidelines. This will be triggered by number of points or form part of a random checking process. In order to ensure your data is protected and used correctly the DVLA declaration is a document which covers this process. You will need to sign and date the mandate and return it to Driving Monitor using the details shown in the mandate instructions.
