You have supplied a Certificate of Motor Insurance that has cover for another driver’s Company Car or is a Generic Certificate without any named persons. You can not enter another driver's company car as your own personal vehicle as the insurance needs to state you as a Named Driver.
If you have received your vehicle as part of a “Cash for Car” scheme or other general allowance afforded by your company towards the purchase of a vehicle, you may need to reach out to your Company’s internal Fleet Administrator/Coordinator to have the insurance amended for your individual purposes.
Please be advised that we cannot deliberate on the difference between a “Company Car” and a “Personal Vehicle” in cases such as these as they are often private agreements between the “Employer” and the “Employee”.
